Ever wondered what 4″ wide tires would do on the snow? Embrace winter riding bikes on snow with us. Stay safe and warm with us while we connect epic terrain, monumental history, top notch equipment, and great people. Want mid ride hot cocoa or something special to make the ride? Just ask.

What are the ride options?

Marshall Pass Rd. Ride up to Marshall Pass as an out and back or all the way to the top. Looking for a mixture of mildly graded road and narrower trails? There is a 10 mile loop that rides up Marshall Pass Rd. for 5 miles then returns on the Greys Creek Trail going past O’Haver Lake. Connect to Poncha Creek Rd. at the top of Marshall Pass for a tough 21 mile loop. The best part are the views of the Sangre de Cristos on the way back down.

St Elmo Ghost Town 5 mi to the old Hancock townsite provides for mildly graded snow packed roads and rail road and mining history that helps us understand what brought so many individuals to Chalk Creek Canyon. Another 3 miles down from the Hancock townsite you reach the Alpine Tunnel West Portal for more smile miles, railroad history, and epic views.

Customize your ride. Don’t see what you are looking for? Let us help you find the route that fits best for you and your group. We will help you prepare and execute your ideal winter ride through the snowy high country. As long as there is no avalanche danger any of our guides are able to show you the way, in the snow.
