Long a local secret, the word is out about the Monarch Crest Trail above Salida, Colorado. Consistently ranked in the Top 10 Mountain Bike Trails in the United States, the Monarch Crest Trail delivers incredible high altitude singletrack and a long downhill dropping thousands of feet almost all the way back to our hometown of Salida. There are many options on the Monarch Crest Trail – everything from an out and back singletrack adventure for those with medium skill levels to epic technical rides. We’ve ridden them all and we can take you there.
The local favorite is the Ride Across the Sky, 10 miles of singletrack that follows the Continental Divide Trail/Colorado Trail as it climbs from the top of Monarch Pass and follows the Continental Divide above treeline. On most days, we can see all the way from Pikes Peak in the east to the San Juan Mountains in the west – the entire width of the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.
The Monarch Crest Trail is one of the best rides you’ll ever do. Join us for the fun!
